Fit Since Preseason, Welbeck Seeks Redemption

The 26-year-old striker underwent an unsuccessful career since moving to Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014. Welbeck’s injury picked up a total of 69 appearances by scoring just 17 goals and 12 assists.

“So far disappointing, I’ve been talking about this and it’s not fun,” Welbeck said in the Mirror. “Obviously you have to deal with a lot of injuries but those times I’ve been forked and now I have to start again.I have to build a base for the pre-season and hopefully continue injury-free.”
